Cliff has designed and supervised the installation of over 130 solar systems since 2002 ranging in size from 2-3 KW residential Grid-tie PV systems, residential hot water systems to large commercial systems, including the Pocono Raceway 3 MW design and the PSEG 1.3 MW rooftop systems. He has managed all aspects of solar and wind siting, quotation, design, purchasing, permitting, project management, commissioning, and inspections. He is founder of Solar/Wind Power of Portland, and is a frequent speaker and training instructor at various solar or renewable trade shows and events.
Prior to solar and wind areas, Cliff was President and Founder of Cablebus Systems Corp., and had over 31 years of experience in CATV systems, telecommunication/audio/broadcasting equipment, instrumentation, and testing.
Schooled at Carnegie Mellon University, California State University, Long Beach, and University of Portland (MBA Program), Cliff holds 9 patents and has delivered dozens of technical papers/books and classes for the past 35 years.
His hobbies include restoring and flying antique airplanes, and playing piano and guitar.
